Pregnancy Weigh In 21/12/2009

Well today my weight is the same as last week 94.7kg.  I was expecting a gain this week so I am happy to see the scales have been kind and just stayed the same.

Well I will be officially 4 months pregnant on Wednesday.  I had the worst night sleep last night waking up every 1/2 hour.  It is beginning to get uncomfortable and I think I need to invest in one of those long maternity pillows.  I hadn’t felt the baby for a few days and then last night he/she gave me a show which was nice.  In two weeks the baby will be up to my belly button and is growing quickly (like my belly hehehe).

We only have eight weeks before our LA holiday which is very exciting – that time will fly and we will be jetsetting before we know it.

Pregnancy Weigh In 14/12/2009

Hi All – I hope everyone is doing well and getting into a festive spirit.

This week I lost 800grams but I feel some of this was water loss as I have been a little ill the last couple of nights.  So anyway this morning I weigh 94.7kg which is exciting to be on the other side of the 90’s.  Perhaps there is a chance that I will see the 80’s while I’m pregnant.  I have now lost 32.8kg altogether which is quite exciting.

I have definately been feeling the baby moving – it sometimes feels like tiny little bubbles being burst across my abdomen.  I usually feel it when I lay down to go to sleep but yesterday when I sat down in the car it must have been awake and moving – it is very busy in there hehehe.

It is so nice to feel the baby even though it is not every day yet that I notice but as it grows a bit bigger I will feel it more frequently.  My poor hubby asked if he could feel it yet but it is way too early for that – at the moment it is just a little secret between me and bubba. 

I can’t wait to meet the baby and see what his/her personality is going to be like.  I can’t wait to shower it in kisses (especially since it won’t be able to complain yet unlike my daughter) hehehe.  As you can see I am in baby love mode (I think my daughter has made it a little worse as she showered me in love and kisses yesterday).

2nd trimester 09/12/2009

Well my daughter’s birthday went well today – she is such an absolute cutie.  I can’t believe how much she has grown in three years (and it is scary to think that in another 3 years I will have another her size hehehe).

We got the best news today – my hubby passed his exams so as of tomorrow he is an official train driver which is such great news!!!!

This marks the end of some stressful studying for him and also means he will become present again when he is home 

We went out and grabbed some dinner at the beach tonight for Jessie’s birthday and to celebrate the exam results – then we went for a nice walk along the beach.  It was nice to have my hubby back  .

And of course I am 14 weeks pregnant today and finally in my second trimester (the baby is 12 weeks old).  Woo hoo.  I should hopefully start feeling the baby properly in the next couple of weeks when it gains a bit of chub.  Hard to believe that it only weighs about 25 grams now but in three weeks or so that goes up to about 100 grams.

P.S All my photos have been updated – I couldn’t wait until 20 weeks so I am back to doing them monthly 

Mode switching 08/12/2009

Ok people I have switched modes – I am in the belly loving stage of my pregnancy.  This happened last pregnancy too – after I get through the first trimester of being embarrassed as my belly was sticking out far too early – I have now entered the omg it is growing and is so cute – my little bubba is in there.  My daughter has decided she would like to be in my belly as well with her brother or sister and has tried climbing through my belly button and through my mouth before I made it clear that she will definately not fit in there hehehe.  I got so many kisses and cuddles from her today………it was magic.  We also visited Santa and she went up by herself for the first time which was great as I didn’t have to be in the photo.

I’m so excited about the future and I feel like some of my energy is slowly returning – in fact I just realised that it has been a few days since my last nanna nap (although I was reluctant to get out of bed this morning).

My husbands last exam will hopefully be tomorrow (unless he has to resit one) so that will be a huge pressure off all of us and I already notice the dynamics shifting and us actually beginning to chat again and start getting back to our usual dynamic (without the constant stress).  Of course then the real estate stress will commence but its all good!!

Did I mention that last night a wave of motivation hit me and I got all my chrissy cards written and sent off today.  It was brilliant – the day before I didn’t even think I would be bothered doing them at all.

So anyway I’m upbeat (or perhaps I have just entered the delirious stage of the evening) – I have mopped the kitchen, wrapped presents, written my daughter’s birthday card and am all ready to great her tomorrow.  I’ll bake a cake in the morning and it should be a great day.

Hopefully later this week I will start christmas shopping (I know last minute right).  Did I mention I love Christmas time!!!!
